The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is the company's entry-level Note 9 model. Its design is similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. It has a 6.53-inch touchscreen with a hole in the top left corner. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The display provides acceptable viewing angles, however, some individuals may find the notch distracting.
The MediaTek Helio G85 SoC powers the Redmi Note 9. The Redmi Note 9 comes in three different configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. A microSD card slot allows for additional storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 comes with a 5,020mAh battery and a 22.5W charger.
A 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor make up the Redmi Note 9's quad-camera configuration. In daylight, the Redmi Note 9 takes good images, and the AI detects scenes quickly. The camera's low-light performance was average, and the Night mode did not significantly improve the output.
